Black Agenda Radio · U.S. Still Protects Jihadists in Syria

BAR continues coverage of the collapse of the Syrian state with a look back at Black Agenda Report analysis from May 27, 2019. The late Glen Ford, then Executive Editor, analyzed the history of the U.S. in that region and its longstanding support of jihadist groups that act as imperialist proxies in western Asia and Africa. In 2024, that dynamic still exists and explains the recent fall of Syria to US-backed terrorists.
