Ukraine: Black Agenda Report Special Issue

This issue of Black Agenda Report gives special attention to events in Ukraine.

This week Black Agenda Report focuses on the conflict taking place in Ukraine. As always BAR contributors provide commentary and analysis on a variety of subject matters, but Ukraine is the editorial focus this week.

BAR has given attention to Ukraine ever since the 2014 US backed coup placed an anti-Russian government in power. This violation of Ukrainian sovereignty set the stage for an 8-year long civil war and the deaths of some 14,000 people in the eastern part of the country. Events in recent weeks are the culmination of these actions which were undertaken by the US and its allies.

The issues which sparked this conflict will continue to be addressed by Black Agenda Report in the future.
