In this week’s segment we discuss how the U.S. controls other nations in the hemisphere such as Guyana, which become de facto US colonies and assist in imposing imperial policies in the region. But we begin by discussing the plight of Haitian immigrants whose Temporary Protected Status (TPS) has ended and who now face job loss, detention, and deportation to Haiti, a country the U.S. advises against visiting because of the dangers posed by armed groups.
