Deborah Jones is the author of the book, What We Stood For: The Story of a Revolutionary Black Woman, published by Diasporic Africa Press. It tells the story of her experience as a member of the US organization, the violence she endured from its founder, and her ongoing support for the liberation movement. Her book was written with the assistance of Thandisizwe Chimurenga. Deborah joins us from Compton, California and Thandisizwe from Los Angeles.
