Black Agenda Radio · Biden's Pardon and the Challenge of Changing Marijuana Laws

Morgan Fox is the Political Director of NORML, a voice for responsible marijuana consumers which advocates for changes in public policy regarding marijuana. He joins us to discuss the Biden administration proclamation of October 6, 2022, which provided pardons for those with federal marijuana possession convictions. At first glance the initiative seemed to be promising, but 4 months later, there is still no pardon process in place and the proclamation was less beneficial than it first appeared. New congressional legislation is needed to change marijuana laws. Morgan Fox joins us from Washington.
