Doing Good Work

That Frederick Douglass guy is doing some good work, said President Donald Trump.
That Frederick Douglass guy is doing some good work

Bet you wonderin’ how I knew,
What’s fake and what’s true?
I heard it through the grapevine—
Or, maybe I read it online?
I heard from an avid reader—
The world’s most learned leader,
A brilliant, sky high-IQ-guy—
Truth-teller who would never lie,
Reader of four books every two weeks
Who goes Gettysburg when he speaks;
Flaming feminist of the highest order—
Internationalist smashing the border
Champion of compassion and truth—
Fierce defender of children and youth
Staunch anti-racist icon—
not some thin-skinned moron;
And not some genital-garbbin’ jerk
That Fred Douglass is…
Doing good work…
