The Corporate Anti-Education Sham of Teach For America, Part 1 of 2

Founded in 1990 by Wendy Kopp, Teach For America has become the personnel agency for corporate school reform.  School districts fire experienced, often black teachers to hire underpaid TFA recruits with 5 weeks training to do brief "missionary work" stints in public schools before moving on.  Turning teaching into Wal-Mart style temp work is what TFA is all about.
