Mumia: Media Joined the “War Against Assange”

The nation’s best known political prisoner expressed solidarity with Julian Assange and lambasted those institutions that turned their backs on the independent publisher while claiming to defend press freedoms. The US government isn’t the only one that has a vendetta against Assange, said Mumia Abu Jamal. “Newspapers, while publishing his data, still tried to demonize him, denounce him and question his sanity.”
