The armed White Power movement has shifted, since the Vietnam War era, from “earlier incarnations of the Ku Klux Klan to a much more coordinated war against the federal government” and Black and Jews, according to Kathleen Belew, author of Bring the War Home: The White Power Movement and Paramilitary America. Belew is a professor of history at the University of Chicago.
