Black Agenda Radio · War Crimes Committed Against the People of Gaza

Ali Abunimah is Director of electronicantifada.net, an independent online news publication and educational resource focusing on Palestine. He is also the author of One Country and The Battle for Justice in Palestine. He joins us from Chicago to discuss events which began on October 7 when Hamas engaged the Israeli Defense Force, exacting casualties and capturing prisoners. The idea of Israel’s military invincibility has been seriously damaged, but the people of Gaza are paying a high price as Israel’s policy of collective punishment continues with the bombing of civilians, and cutting off supplies of water and electricity, war crimes by definition. President Biden, members of congress, and even local political leaders have expressed what they call unconditional support of Israel, in disregard of the opinions of most people in this country. Ali Abunimah reveals the depths of suffering in Gaza caused by U.S. support of Israel and about the lack of action on behalf of the Palestinian people by any nation in the world.
