US Sports is Racist Playing Field

“Every aspect of society manufacturers” white innocence and Black criminality, said David Leonard, author of Playing While White: Privilege and Power On and Off the Field. Sports is not a meritocracy, but “a playing field of racism and sexism,” said Leonard, a professor at Washington State University.
