Black Agenda Radio · Green Party of New York Wages Write-In Campaign for Voter Choice and Ballot Status

As Election Day approaches, New York has a rather dubious distinction. It is the only state in the country in which Kamala Harris and Donald Trump are the only presidential choices voters have listed on their ballots. Anyone wanting to choose other candidates will have to write in those names. We’re joined by Peter Lavenia, co-chair of the Green Party of New York. He explains why there is this lack of choice and how and why voters can choose the Green Party presidential and vice-presidential candidates Jill Stein and Rudolph Ware. Peter Lavenia joins us from Albany.
