Black Agenda Radio · Abortion Services Under Attack After 47 Years of the Hyde Amendment

Shayla Walker is Executive Director of Our Justice, an abortion fund and advocacy group which provides direct financial and logistical support for people seeking abortion care. She joins us to discuss the 47th anniversary of the Hyde Amendment, which prohibits the use of federal funds for abortion. In the aftermath of Roe v Wade being overturned, the process of securing care has become even more difficult for low-income people. Shayla Walker joins us from Minnesota.
