On July 19, 1979 Sandinista forces emerged victorious after years of struggle against the U.S. backed Somoza dictatorship. We talk to Netfa Freeman who is in Nicaragua about the significance of these events and the concept of a zone of peace for Central America. He joins us from Blue Fields, Nicaragua.
