White phosphorus Pony, nuclear bumps and grinds;
sulfur stench shimmies, twisted Third Reich minds—
bending, ‘amending’ yellowed, ragged redacted pages
…Pedophiles dirty dancing workers’ children in cages!

STOP neo-Con Chippendales Trump, Pompeo and Pence
provoking wars with countries, calling it ‘’self-defense—’’
STOP neo-Con Chippendales Abrams, Bolton and Barr
‘gainst Supreme Leader, Capitalist Roader, New Czar!

STOP their stripping steps of collusion and contention—
their torturous moves ‘gainst the Geneva Convention
STOP the deadly dancers in the middle of their show—
Planet’s People uniting and shouting—one voice: NO!

Raymond Nat Turner is a NYC poet privileged to have read at the Harriet Tubman Centennial Symposium. He is Artistic Director of the stalwart JazzPoetry Ensemble UpSurge and has appeared at numerous festivals and venues including the Monterey Jazz Festival and Panafest in Ghana West Africa. He currently is Poet-in-Residence at Black Agenda Report. Turner has opened for such people as James Baldwin, People’s Advocate Cynthia McKinney, radical sportswriter Dave Zirin and CA Congresswoman Barbara Lee following her lone vote against attacking Afghanistan.
