Lil’ Negroz hurtin’ dem sefs doin’ de 2/4 Dance

Rollin’ ‘roun’ in mule menoor lak dey ina trance!

 

Pleez, don’ axe me if’n ya don’ wan me ta tell it

Wen de whole wide wurl can see, an’ smell it—

Ebry 2-4 yrs Negroz gettin’ played fo’ de fool

Poppin’ an’ lockin,’ behin’ de Dems’ ol’mule!
