Black Agenda Radio · Washington DC Communities Mobilize Against New Crime Bill

The city council in the nation’s capital, Washington DC, passed what is called the DC Secure Omnibus Crime Bill in March of this year, which is opposed by many community residents. Pan African Community Action (PACA) is holding a town hall on Saturday, July 13, “The Harm of Crime Bills and the Future of Community Power in Chocolate City.” We are joined by PACA member Oliver Robinson, who will explain the harm of this legislation and discuss the upcoming town hall. He joins us from Washington.
