The Center for Economic and Policy Research (CEPR) recently reported on Federal Reserve data indicating that Black people in the U.S. have lost 25% of their wealth between 2022 and 2025. Whites, Asians, and Latinos all experienced increases in wealth to varying degrees. Why do Black people have such a different economic experience? Dr. Algernon Austin is Director of Race and Economic Justice at CEPR, and he joins us from Maryland to discuss these findings.
