Racist Mob Attacks in Britain
Black Agenda Radio with Margaret Kimberley
19 Jun 2026
🖨️ Print Article

On June 8th, a knife attack in Belfast, Northern Ireland, in the UK, was seen on video. The assailant was an African asylum seeker, and the victim was a local white resident.  In the following days, mobs of white men attacked Black and brown migrants, setting fire to their homes, and families fled for their lives. Roger McKenzie is the international editor of the UK-based Morning Star, the only English-language socialist daily newspaper in the world. He joins us from Oxford to discuss this and other racist incidents and what they tell us about politics and racism in Britain.
