Black Agenda Radio · COP30 and the Failure of the Climate Conference Process

The latest United Nations climate change conference, COP30, recently took place in Belem, Brazil. A people’s counter summit was also held, attended by indigenous Brazilians, Afro-Descendants, and activists from around the world. We are joined by two participants, Ajamu Baraka, Director of the North-South Project for People(s) Centered Human Rights and Anthony Rogers Wright, an activist and host of the WPFW program Full Spectrum with Anthony Rogers Wright. They discuss the viability of the COP process in fighting climate change.
