“Black Liberals” are Aligned with the US Police State

In a BAR article titled “Black Liberal, Your Time Is Up,” York College Africana Studies professor Yannick Marshall described much of the Black political class ensconced in the Democratic Party as “imposters.” “They take the essence and anger of Black rebellion” and lay claim to it themselves, “although their interests are not aligned with the people who are rising,” said Dr Marshall. As a consequence, the African continent’s most resource-rich and geographically strategic nation has been plagued by a “physically scarred and corrupt political culture,” said Carney.

African Monarch on the Ropes

A democracy movement in the southern African nation formerly known as Swaziland is demanding that King Mswati III step down from the throne, said Abayomi Azikiwe, editor of Pan African News Wire. More than a score of people have been killed in protests largely led by the Communist Party of Swaziland, “which has considerable influence in the opposition Youth Congress,” said Abayomi, who was interviewed by Tierney Sheree, of Africa Esquire TV.
