Asked why purported “progressives” insist on expressing their personal dislike for Julian Assange, noted author Maximillian Forte, a professor of anthropology at Concordia University in Montreal, Canada, said some are angry because they blame Wikileaks’ publication of embarrassing emails for Hillary Clinton’s presidential defeat. Others simply call Assange a “traitor,” said Maximillian. “I suppose they don’t know that he’s not actually an American citizen.”
