Stevie Stevenson, serving a long term in the California prison system says the state is putting law books out of reach of the incarcerated population. “The system now exerts total control of the law books,” said Stevenson, in a report to Prison Radio. Without access to law books, prisoners have no way to contest their sentences or living conditions.
