Former Bill of Rights Defense Committee director Shahid Buttar said Black freshman Minnesota Congresswoman Ilhan Omar is “a hero. We’ve been waiting for decades for someone to have that line of questioning” for criminals like Elliot Abrams. Rep. Omar asked why anyone should believe Abrams, a death squad manager for the Reagan administration who was convicted of lying to Congress.
