Facebook has still not given any coherent explanation for briefly removing the page of Venezuelanalysis.com, the daily English-language political analysis publication, said reporter Jeanette Charles. The shutdown followed a Venezuelanalysis critique of the corporate media’s coverage of an assassination attempt against Venezuelan president Nicolas Maduro. “We know that they corporate media lies, distorts, serves larger political purposes and is not about democratic information dissemination,” said Charles.
