We sent Glen Ford to Denver's Democratic convention not to follow the worshipful crowd, but to look with a fresh eye at the demolition of Dr. King's Dream by marketers and militarists who fundamentally oppose his actual life's work.
Dr. Robert McChesney is quite right when he points out that real journalism requires full-time professionals and the protection of powerful institutions.
