New York Activists Battle Police Brutality Underground: Shannon Jones Speaks

Over 1,000 protesters recently confronted police repression and high subway fares at demonstrations in Brooklyn, under the banner “F.T.P.” Shannon Jones, of Bronxites for NYPD Accountability, said F.T.P “could mean ‘Feed the People,’ it could mean ‘Fight the Power,’ but for us at this juncture it means ‘Fuck the Police.’” Jones’ organization is part of a coalition representing activists in all the city’s boroughs.
