Black Agenda Radio · Mississippi Goddam

Jaribu Hill is Director of the Mississippi Workers’ Center for Human Rights. She joins us to discuss a Mississippi political scandal involving a former governor who gave millions of dollars in funds from the Temporary Assistance for Needy Families program to political cronies and even to a multi-millionaire former football star. In addition, the city of Jackson has been without clean water for more than a week. She joins us from Greenville to talk about Mississippi politics and how these two scandals came about.
