Since 1949, the United States has been using NATO to militarily encircle and Russia, said Phil Wilayto, editor of the Virginia Defender and a participant in the national conference of the Coalition Against U.S. Foreign Military Bases. ”We need to show how imperialist aggression is intimately connected with attacks on working people and communities of color here at home,” said Wilayto.
