Students in France are engaging in mass protests. Hundreds of them have been arrested and injured by police, and many schools are closed. Annick Metefia joins us from Paris. She is a member of the Afrofeminist Mwasi Collectif and provides insights on French politics and the struggles of African-descended and other immigrant communities under an austerity regime and the rise of the racist right wing in a Black Agenda Report YouTube interview.
