Black Agenda Radio · Ali Abunimah on the ICC Arrest Warrants Issued for Israeli Officials

Ali Abunimah is Director of Electronic Intifada, a website focusing on Palestine news and analysis. He is also the author of One Country and The Battle for Justice in Palestine. He joins us from Chicago to discuss the International Criminal Court issuing arrest warrants for Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant and Hamas military leader Mohammed Deif, who may or may not be alive.

A year of well documented war crimes and South Africa’s case against Israel with the International Court of Justice should have ensured that this action occurred months ago. Why now? What impact will these arrest warrants have on the ICJ case? Why was Deif included in the warrants? Ali Abunimah provides analysis.
