Margaret Kimberley · “Black Liberals” are Aligned with the US Police State

In a BAR article titled “Black Liberal, Your Time Is Up,” York College Africana Studies professor Yannick Marshall described much of the Black political class ensconced in the Democratic Party as “imposters.” “They take the essence and anger of Black rebellion” and lay claim to it themselves, “although their interests are not aligned with the people who are rising,” said Dr Marshall. Instead, this class uses their influence “to extend the police state” that oppresses Black people.
