Nellie Bailey and Glen Ford
14 Nov 2017

The Black Is Back Coalition held is annual march on the White House, followed by a national conference at Howard University. Among the speakers was Eritha Akile Cainion, a 20 year old activist with the African People’s Socialist Party who ran a spirited campaign for the St. Petersburg, Florida city council on the slogan, “Unity Through Reparations.” Dr. Marsha Coleman Adebayo, of the No Fear Coalition, asked the conference’s help in demanding reparations for the destruction of a Black cemetery in Bethesda, Maryland.
