Johanna Miller is Director of Education Policy at the New York Civil Liberties Union. In a recent commentary on the NYCLU website she wrote about the need to move forward with proposed legislation that would end legacy college admissions in New York State. The issue has gained traction in light of the recent Supreme Court decision which banned the use of race as an admissions criterion. Johanna Miller joins us from New York City to explain what makes legacy admissions so problematic.
