Black Agenda Radio · Black Politics in Louisiana

The state of Louisiana recently enacted legislation that requires the posting of the Ten Commandments in all classrooms in public schools and universities. The adherence to religious belief is contradicted by the state’s initial rejection of federal funds which would pay for summer food assistance during the break. Kevin Griffin-Clark is a New Orleans-based self-described "actionavist" and an ordained elder in his church. He joins us to analyze these and other issues impacting Black people in Louisiana.
