The people of Haiti don’t believe a word President Jovenel Moise has to say, said Dahoud Andre, spokesman for the Committee to Mobilize Against Dictatorship in Haiti. The committee holds protests every Thursday at the Haitian consulate in New York City. In Haiti, “you have young people in the streets all night long, so there are protests day and night, people demanding that the government leave,” said Dahoud. “We have been doing our part every week since April.”
