She joins us from New York City to discuss the case of Tracy McCarter, who will be tried for murdering her abusive estranged husband. A judge refused to allow a charge of manslaughter, which prosecutors belatedly supported. During his campaign Manhattan’s district attorney promised not to prosecute abuse survivors but his record in office is different.
